Guy Fawkes was last night and me and a few friends went out to watch the display at the New Brighton Pier.

It. Was. Spectacular!

The fireworks were so pretty and apparently one of the radio stations broadcasts the music for the display but we didn't bring a radio. There were carnival rides, donuts, candyfloss, caramel nuts and light up swords. I'm so going next year, but maybe a little earlier next time.

Altera's list of things to remember next year.
-Radio
-Blankets, even though I managed to find a grassy patch on the sand dune, it'd be better to leave the sand on the beach.
-Sparklers, it's not Guy Fawkes without them (Still have 100 of them)
-Jandals

In other news, I finished my Halloween sketch the other day. Will start working on free sketches. I have a month off uni before summer school.

I finally bought a new bike helmet to replace the one I cracked 4 years ago. I was using my sister's one during that time because she hardly ever goes cycling. Currently downgraded to a 5 speed from the 10 speed I used to ride because the front brake thing isn't working properly. Only need the basics really, hooray for living in a city without hills between me and my job!

Oh great there are some idiots who are still letting off fireworks, they're not supposed to be doing that.
